He started his company in 1991, and his pursuit of conveying a classy image for women has been the driving force behind his ambition.

He has also worked as a fashion designer for many hair companies including Revlon. Paul Mitchell, Bronner Brother, Farouk, Mizani, Soft Sheen, and more. In 2005, he was featured as one of the designers to look out for by Ebony Magazine. Leon has been honored with the prestigious award of Best Male Designer in Atlanta, Georgia for the year of 2016.
